2a. Creating the booklet document in InDesign
We set up our booklet in Indesign to predetermined specifications and of at least 8 pages.
At least 1 x Drop Cap, styled to your own specifications. (AC 1.3)
At least 1 x Pulled Quote, scaled and displayed appropriately. (AC 1.3)
At least 1 x image to be placed into an irregular shape in the document and a text wrap applied. This could be a circle, polygonal shape, or a cutout. (AC 3.2)
At least 1 x hanging indent or bullet, formatted and embedded appropriate to the design of the layout. (AC 4.3)
At least 2 x Paragraph Styles (AC 2.2)
Edited Master Pages with page numbering and guides (AC 2.1)
Create at least two Master Page layouts, change columns and apply to pages, (AC 4.6)
Formatting the text(AC 2.2)
Use your images folder to import various images corresponding to the text. (AC 3.1)
Importing text (4.1)
Printing (6.3, 6.2, 6.3)
Produce a black & white hard copy, ensuring you print to 100% scale, spreads, on A4 or A3 paper, with crop marks and registration marks.
Saving the file (AC 5.1)
Create a new folder inside the Photography Promo folder and call it Booklet.
Save the InDesign file in it.
Save the finished document as a high-res PDF in this folder
